3rd Edition Hunter Ski

Hello Everybody,

My apologies for the lack of contact. We have been very busy here at Hunter Ski with everything happening at once.

My first bit of news is the changes we have made to the Hunter Ski. As always we are striving to bring you the ultimate fishing kayak, and have made more improvements to the Hunter Ski mold. The only significant change is in the drain holes, we have increased the diameter of the holes and repositioned one of them. This will enable the cockpit to drain much faster in the case of a wave filling this area. It has also strengthened the internal structure of the kayak. Other than that we have neatened the texture of the of the kayak all-round.

Please come and view this new model and consider trading in your existing Hunter Ski.

We represented fishing kayaks at the Loskop Kurper bonanza on the 27th of March. It was a brilliant competition with great scope for the kayakers to get into the prizes next year. Please read my report and check out the photo's on the Hunter Ski website.

The Gauteng kayak fishing club is growing rapidly and we are hoping to start fishing together socially, and even take on some other provinces. We will be having a meeting early May, the proposed date at the moment is Friday 14 May at the Hunter Ski factory. Please join us if at all possible, and lets see where we can take this sport in our province.

This meeting will be followed by the final fresh water kayak fishing competition of this season. This is Saturday 15 May. We need a venue, so please forward your suggestions. This time there will be prizes for this one day competition.

I am off to Mozambique on Saturday and will be fishing in the Paindane Species competition starting on the 2nd of May. It is still possible to get a booking, so let me know if it is a possiblity for you.

Hope to see you on the water soon.

Tight Lines!
